You will partner with the commercial team to understand our consumers and their relationships with our brands. Responsibilities (WHAT WILL I BE DOING?)
To be part of our success as an Innovation Manager, you will: -

  • Providing powerful and relevant insights that will help grow our brands and our business, alongside interpreting, assessing and communicating consumer response to our marketing initiatives, activities and ideas.
  • Working closely with the assigned business team and will be expected to become respected as the expert in consumer understanding, with a focus on adult cereal market.
  • Negotiating with and influencing your key stakeholders as required.
  • Using and maximising Kellogg’s internal knowledge to be pro-active in providing better business solutions to the overall business.
  • Initiating and managing market research aimed at generating consumer and customer insights and trends (concept development, ideation and concept/product/copy testing).
  • Providing guidance and training to business teams on market research techniques and analytical tools - Analyse, interpret, recommend, communicate opportunities and learning and their implications

Requirements :
As well as a hunger to succeed and grow as an Insights and Planning Manager, you must be able to meet the following:

  • Passion for insights, statistics and marketing, always questioning why and providing intelligent insights and creative ideology.
  • Demonstrated Insights and Research experience (preferably within an FMCG environment).
  • Consumer/Shopper/Customer insights to business situation.
  • Leadership Skills ( envision and set direction on projects and execute with excellence).
  • Previous exposure to syndicated sales analysis and statistics.
  • Excellent project and time management skills, as well as strong verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team interaction skills which will allow maximum influence on the business operations.
  • Travel within the region will be required (spanning markets from Australia to South Africa).
  • Any post-graduate degree (MBA is an advantage).
  • At least 7 years experience in Research & Analytics either with a research company or on the client side.
  • Hands on experience in running different types of research studies is critical. The candidate should have research interest in both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • No Relocation assistance.
