Amazon Marketing Manager


DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a creative, results-driven and customer obsessed Senior Marketing Manager where you will start with the customer in mind, work backwards, leverage data and optimize processes, to further drive awareness, purchase and loyalty for Amazon. You will continuously review the toolbox needed to grow internal and external traffic and conversion for our products and services in a way that meets our business objectives. Operationally, you will liaise with multiple teams within Amazon, including traffic, customer insights to execute on the strategy defined, while building great business relationships with some of Amazon's top brands.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Responsible for updating on-site content and merchandising across key categories
· Work with brands to develop and set up key marketing campaigns
· Setting and implementing strategies to grow internal and external traffic to our products, and improve conversion rate, to maximize sales and downstream value to Amazon.
· Building and maintaining reporting to measure and optimize the acquisition model; working closely with Finance, Product Management and Instock teams to explain impact of model defined.
· Partnering with other internal Amazon teams to ensure successful implementation of all marketing related tools, including understanding barriers to automation and building use cases and solutions to manual work
· Owning and taking action at all operational steps needed for the successful functioning of the tools identified (i.e. feedback, systematic updates, coordination, etc).
· Reviewing product launch processes, identifying gaps and improvements and overall increasing our speed to launch new selection.
· Identifying key customer insights to increase brand relevance, and accelerate customer acquisition and loyalty, using both quantitative and qualitative data.
· Owning customer experience including content auditing, catalog quality and assisting with product launch related language-specific tasks (e.g. review keywords, messaging, etc).
· Maintain a balance between commercial, customer and editorial requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven 4-6+ years marketing experience in consumer digital marketing and/or site-merchandising in a fast-moving business, strong intuition for good customer experience and messaging
· Experience in arranging visual merchandizing plans with vendors and handling multiple projects at once
· Strong analytical and data-mining aptitude, coupled with strong Microsoft Excel skills and basic knowledge of HTML and XML
· Ability to collaborate successfully with internal teams and deliver results
· Process-oriented mindset
· Proven bias for action and ability to prioritize and learn quickly
· Great communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in either online, retail or e-commerce business is a strong plus
· Demonstrated ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects, including engineering, merchandising, design, marketing, and operations.
· Strong drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks ambitious to get the job done.
· Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects, and comfortable dealing with the ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities of a rapidly evolving business.

AWS is seeking an innovative, self-directed Senior Online Programs and Campaign Marketing Manager with proven ability to produce an exceptional user experience in virtual event programming and digital campaign execution

The role and responsibilities include strategy creation and demand generation content for virtual event execution, creation of video, customer emails, media banners and social channel posts. The program manager will collaborate with numerous AWS marketing team globally and work with cross functional teams like solution architect, business development, partners, and 3rd party vendors. He or she will build a virtual program-aligned calendar, define objectives and deliver world class virtual event experience to our customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:
· Create and successfully drive awareness, adoption, and usage of AWS through innovative, scalable and leveragable platform programs - including marquee virtual platform conferences, webinar series, and customer reference programs.
· Define the program strategy, goals and align stakeholders in the different geos.
· Craft and develop compelling messaging and tools focused on customers (solution videos, customer success stories,etc.) for use on the web, at live events and in customer facing programs.
· Collaborate closely with cross functional and regional teams to design and implement programs that positively impacts business growth and enhance AWS reputation.
· Manage and establish best practice processes for all digital and social media presences
· Drive success for digital marketing efforts through SEO, SEM, web analytics, social media monitoring and demand generation programs.


The successful candidate will need to be a motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business. He/She needs to be organized and programmatic in his/her approach, comfortable in managing multiple projects, and thrives in a high-pressure and fast paced environment. As a key member of the Marketing team, the APAC Marketing Program Manager will define and execute the campaign and program strategy to drive awareness and signups, and drive product engagement with existing customers. The ideal candidate will have a senior marketing background and a proven ability to work independently and manage cross-functionally to deliver a rich pipeline of content.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop the campaign and program strategy that supports and complements existing marketing plans, tactical and long-term.
• Create and execute the campaign and program that drives both top-of-funnel growth well as adoption of new features and best practices for the geos.
• Work with cross-functional team that includes blog posts, landing pages, infographics, customer case studies, white papers, videos, code samples, surveys and more to support awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation efforts and overall business objectives.

In the grim backdrop of COVID-19 since December 2019, controlling the spread of the viral pandemic and lockdowns completely overhauled our habits and how we worked. No one is spared in the sprawling economic effect. Margie, who is the author of 5 best selling books, an advocate for gender equality, women in leadership and women's empowerment, was an invited speaker in our workforce and shared key principles on how to turn around a bad situation into one that you can glean from.


When we are feeling the impact of all that is going on, Be radically disciple in managing ourselves. Our circumstances don't have the power to determine how we are going to show up to the world. We emote before we reason, we cannot control our circumstances and our immediate feelings. We can regulate our emotions.
