Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience with executive communications to senior stakeholders
Experience with SQL
Experience with Data Studio

Preferred qualifications:
Excellent problem solving, analytical, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly and work well in fast-paced environments with limited direction, balancing competing priorities and managing several time-sensitive projects at once

The Google Workspace Programs team support the business by building programmatic engines to drive demand generation as well as acceleration of pipeline to grow the business.

As a Data Analyst, you will help fellow cloud sales Googlers by performing analysis of data of existing and potential customers to identify trends, signals, and opportunities in the business to help identify business opportunities. Not only will you provide invaluable insights into the data that can impact the business, but you will also devise new ways for us to identify and communicate with potential opportunities, connecting them to our sales team and showing how Google Cloud can impact their business.

Your insight means you will thrive at customer segmentation, acquisition, and retention. You will combine clean communication with strong analytical skills and a solid commitment to understanding customer needs and providing an outstanding customer experience. You will examine and analyze statistical data to forecast marketing trends and to identify potential new markets for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, structure, and lead initiatives and business programs that can result in increased business generation.
  • Work with Sales and cross-functional teams to become their trusted partner for all things data and share best practices with other regional and global Google Sales Operations teams.
  • Understand the Google Workspace business model and identify key trends that can be turned into programs. Build dashboards for reporting on program performance.

Data Analyst, Global Partnerships Sales Engine

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 1 year of work experience with account management, ad operations, or project management Preferred qualifications: Experience with streamlining operational process (e.g. automation) and familiarity with SQL Advanced knowledge of presentation, spreadsheet, and documentation tools Broad understanding of online advertising (ad serving, business generation solutions) and key platforms and trends (desktop, mobile, video) Demonstrated analytical, operational efficiency, and stakeholder management ability Ability to be self-motivated and proactive. Comfortable operating in a rapidly changing industry, and the ability to work well with a team In this role, you will be part of a team that supports publishers and helps drive accelerated business growth for them through our publisher and platform solutions. The Global Partnerships Sales Engine (GPSE) team is a critical part of driving operational efficiency and scale in support of our publisher and platform solutions. The GPSE team centralizes work away from sales teams so that leaders can concentrate their efforts on customer-specific activities and continue growing a global business. As a Data Analyst on the GPSE team, you will have the opportunity to work with an extensive range of cross-functional teams on the Global Partnerships side of the business, to further evolve and scale GPSE support. Contribute proactively to the analysis and optimization of processes, internal tools, and product to drive efficiency and scale.
