Data Analytics & Strategy Senior Manager

Position Summary

Since launching in 2007, Teach For All has grown into an organization of 130 people based in 17 countries, supporting a network of 58 partner organizations (partners) around the world. This role is ideal for someone with advanced analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills who can respond to a wide range of stakeholders across diverse roles and contexts simultaneously. As a member of the Partner Voice & Data team, you will work across our internal teams and growing network of partners to collect, analyze, and visualize a broad array of data for a multitude of purposes, some recurring and some tailored. You will manage the administration of multiple global surveys and maintain our Global Data System (GDS), Ten-Year Intended Outcomes Dashboard, and PowerBI platform. Responsibilities

Survey Project Management & Data Analysis and Reporting (50%)

Lead on the project management and data analysis for our larger and more complex global data collections and surveys (GDS Collections, Partner Survey, and the Org Efficiency Study), provide technical and analytical support for the administration of other global surveys (Alumni Survey, Student Survey, and Engagement For Results Survey), and manage the 10-Year Intended Outcomes Dashboard. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Develop project timeline and define key milestones and deliverables to ensure successful survey communication and administration; coordinate with team members and key stakeholders to ensure that timeline, milestones and deliverables are met
  • Manage data verification across all participating partners in close collaboration with internal teams to ensure we have reliable data for learning, reporting, and monitoring progress towards our 10-Year Intended Outcomes 
  • Analyze data collected and present and visualize the data in a compelling way to partners and internal teams; propose refinement of survey instruments and collection tools based on the data collected
  • Report progress on the 10-Year Intended Outcomes by consolidating, analyzing and visualizing data across Teach For All’s data sources and providing detailed analysis and visualizations for each metric in the 10-Year Intended Outcomes Dashboard


Cross-Team Collaboration (30%)

  • Support teams to use data strategically and build a data-driven culture:
  • Provide thought partnership and support to help teams build and maintain data systems and data collection protocols and SOPs that meet their needs.
  • Provide more complex data analysis and visualizations per the reporting needs of external facing teams, including inputs on data requests and projections for fundraising pitches or reporting. 
  • Thought partner on data related projects, such as regional/functional specific analysis, reflections and learning loops for diagnosis, decision making and reflections, etc.; synthesize and document key findings from engagements to enable cross-functional collaboration. 


Data System Development & Data Self-Service (20%)

Coordinate the maintenance and optimization of our back-end data systems to ensure structural integrity, reliability and ease of navigation.

Liaise with the Tech team to streamline and consolidate data sources across the organization centrally. 

Continue to develop a reliable and accessible PowerBI platform and optimize it by soliciting feedback from network partners and global organization staff and implementing updates and changes to the platform based on the feedback. 

Accelerate data self-service and build a stronger, more nuanced understanding of data across the network by creating documentation for data and Power BI and training or coaching partners and global organization staff on the use of data, Excel, and PowerBI


Requirements

Minimum of five years of experience in the monitoring and evaluation and/or consulting field, including experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. 

Project management experience in cross-cultural environments with multiple stakeholders and fast-moving timelines

Strong data analysis and visualization skills; PowerBI experience is essential 

Advanced expertise in Excel analysis and modeling required; experience with advanced statistical data analysis tools such as Stata, SPSS, etc. a plus

Knowledge of Google Cloud database, BigQuery, SQL, Python, etc. a plus

Experience with a Teach For All network partner a plus but not required

Fluency in English required

Assistant Manager to Senior Manager, Market Planning at Singapore Tourism Board

Purpose of job:

The role involves formulating and evolving Singapore’s visitor source market portfolio and source market diversification roadmap in tandem with STB’s tourism ambition.

Main Responsibilities:

a) Market Planning and Engagement

The successful applicant will support the Assistant Chief Executive (International Group) and Regional Directors in (i) mapping STB’s global footprint of international network of offices, marketing representatives and regional outposts; and (ii) evolving STB’s visitor source market portfolio strategy.

Resourcing (manpower and financial) will be a vital component of medium to long-term market planning, and the officer will be part of the team proposing and justifying resourcing needs for STB’s international network.

In addition, the officer will get a chance to apply these strategic planning skillsets through nurturing and building brand affinity for destination Singapore in an emerging visitor source market. Marketing Manager - Southeast Asia: App Store & Apple Media Services (12 months Contract) at Apple

JOB SUMMARY

Ideally you are someone with deep understanding of entertainment services marketing, and a working knowledge of digital marketing channels, and/or subscription marketing. This position is responsible for leading all aspects of Apple Media Products marketing, working closely with the international marketing teams and the local business teams.

This is a role for you if you also possess the communication and interpersonal skills to work across a complex matrix organisation, and be able to build strong relationships with key individuals to help deliver extraordinary marketing programs and partnerships.

Most of all, this position is for an individual that is passionate about the role music, apps, games and video play in people’s lives.

This role is a 12 months Contract.


Key Qualifications

  • Relevant marketing experience in a digital, subscription, or media business.
  • Deep understanding of marketing opportunities across the region and which channels work the best based on different objectives.
  • Look at marketing from a broad ecosystem perspective that benefits multiple aspects of the business, instead of looking at it in a silo affecting a single business vertical.
  • An innate ability to manage deadlines and work effectively with cross-functional teams on the basis of daily and weekly deadlines
  • Proven experience in implementing innovative and measured marketing programs that generate results and promote the brand.
  • A strong project management background, which is key to managing varying levels of complexity and timelines running concurrently over extended periods of time.
  • Skilled and obsessively analytical in measuring efficiency of marketing programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in digital marketing, understand the role digital and social platforms play in the lives of consumers today and know how to harness their power to generate awareness and tell a story around a product or service.
  • Experience in and enjoy working with others — either with external partners or with internal teams that help bring a project to life.
  • Resourceful, high-energy, proactive, creative, inventive and team-player.

Description

In this role, you will:
  • Be responsible for delivering Apple Media Products marketing initiatives in Southeast Asia.
  • Define clear and tangible marketing priorities and follow-through with flawless execution.
  • Define quarterly and annual priorities for marketing in line with what the business requires, without sacrificing what our consumers need from and expect of us.
  • Work with local business managers, editors and internal partners across Apple, as well as external content partners to support key marketing initiatives.
  • Lead the development of cohesive local marketing programs which align with global and regional business objectives.
  • Work with key partners across the region in guiding their marketing efforts, ensuring that the Apple brand and messaging is well represented.
  • Identify local marketing opportunities to drive customers to our services.
  • Constantly measure and fine-tine our marketing efforts against benchmarks.
  • Test, learn and iterate to optimise regional marketing performance.
  •  Support global marketing priorities at a local level.


Education & Experience

A BA/BS degree in Business or a related discipline, or preferably an MBA or equivalent degree.
