Online Commercial Manager, SEA at Aesop

POSITION PURPOSE 

The Online Commercial Manager, SEA based in Singapore reports to the Country Manager, SEA and Regional Online Manager. The Manager plays a critical role in executing strong leadership with business acumen, problem-solving and non-compromise mindset to the Aesop service offers. This role operates as part of Southeast Asia team and also as an extension of Regional team in Hong Kong for driving the overall online retail experience for Aesop, supporting both brand site and third-party channel. They are also the champion for driving the digital business expansion plan, exploring the new online retail channels and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

General
  • Responsible for the P&L and financial performance of the channel
  • Responsible for the daily operations of ecommerce within Aesop SEA
  • Act as a key person for coordinating various functions and resources internally and externally to support the growth of the Online Retail
  • Conduct analysis to understand performance drivers (e.g. UV, Conversion, return rate, basket size and OOS rate) by platforms, channels, etc., to uncover improvement opportunities and present recommendations to stakeholders
  • Diagnose site issues and raise ticket to relevant teams for timely resolution
  • Be the local market expert and go-to person by sharing market and competitor insights with stakeholders
  • Working with Regional Team / Marketing Team to drive the paid search operation
  • Explore other marketplace opportunities which fits the brand DNA for driving incremental online business
  • Align with Global and Regional team on the direction and localize it into the local market
  • Manage and guide online platform operation strategy, plans and execution of store in third party vendor in terms of merchandising, activity planning, customer service and logistic delivery
  • Manage the daily store operation by monitoring third party vendor performance and giving guidance
  • Generate daily or weekly performance report and manage various internal stakeholders
Marketing

  • Work closely with third party agencies and marketing teams to develop and manage eCommerce campaigns and strategies to ensure timely and quality implementation with appropriate budget and ROI driven.
  • Develop and maintain the relationship with the marketplace key account team
  • Monitor the market and provide intelligence for internal operation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to use content, digital marketing tactics and campaigns to generate traffic and sales


Logistics

  • Monitor the sales trend with correspondence inventory planning with Supply Chain Team
  • Ensure the logistics and fulfillment process by working closely with Supply Chain Team and logistics vendor to consistently achieve defined services KPIs' targets for warehouse and logistics operations and orders fulfillment
  • Optimize the unboxing experience with appropriate packing, wrapping and delivery solutions
  • Regular review and communication with third party service providers to continuously achieve service improvement and cost optimization

Customer Service

Monitor customer service quality and work with training team in providing appropriate training to 3rd part agency, as needed


Requirements

  • University graduate in Marketing, Ecommerce, or Digital Marketing
  • 6 years of experience in Ecommerce, Digital Marketing or Retail & Analytics field, experience in setting up 3rd party platform is highly appreciate
  • Prior experience with Hybris or Magento is an advantage
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Tableau, JIRA and spreadsheet skills
  • Experience in Google Adword, Google Display Network, Yahoo Ad, Bing Network operations

Responsibilities

Analytics

  • Support the transformation of the HR organization in becoming a digital HR organization
