Job Description
As a Senior Head, Data and Analytics in the Higher Education Planning Office, you will conduct research and comparative studies to build a knowledge base on Singapore's Higher Education sector which will help inform educational policies and reviews.
Your key responsibilities include:
- • Conducting research and studies on the higher education sector to drive policy development as well as provide support for policy formulation
- • Identifying, collecting and analysing data, and building a knowledge base on the higher education sector
- • Working closely with various stakeholders, including Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and economic agencies, in scoping and conducting research studies, and manpower planning
- • Managing data on higher education and coordinating requests from various government agencies for such data
This is an individual contributor role which is open to both fresh graduates and applicants with experience.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to apply analytical/ computer packages for statistical work
- Keen interest in data analytics and familiarity with data management, statistical methods and analytical tools
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
- A detailed-oriented individual with a sense of perspective
- Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in data analytics
