[Contractor] Operations Analyst, Payment Fraud at AirBnB

In the Analytics Job Family, you will provide data and statistical skills to drive initiatives specific to your Specialization.

As the Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for building operational data visualizations, and performing statistical analysis to provide insights and recommendations.


You will be working closely with the Product Support and Operations Management Job Families and other stakeholders to provide feedback and improve our models and user experience.

In this role, you will be employed by a third party agency and will not be eligible for Airbnb employee benefits.

Mentor Operations Analysts and Data Specialists
Support all Specializations


Key Relationships


This role requires building and maintaining relationships with the following stakeholders, outside your Reporting line:
Data Science, Operations Manager, Business Analytics
Policy, QI, as potential Cross-functional Areas of Focus*

Technical Skill Requirements
Trained in SQL (Superset or PrestoDB)
Able to write advanced functional SQL queries
Able to easily create data visualizations
Good technical understanding of Payment fraud - data & engineering perspective.
Previous experience in building analytics models or working on risk engine models is a big plus.


Qualifications
Statistics familiarity or related education or background
You may have 7+ years of payments / payment fraud experience plus relevant education.
You must have strong influencing skills and be able to manage effectively in ambiguity.
